polypropylene
Advantages: 1. Floating water 2. Low price 3. Insensitive to chemical erosion 4. Strong wear resistance 5. No water absorption 6. No strength loss in water
Disadvantages: 1. Anti-ultraviolet poor 2. Strength is not high 3. Low melting point 4. Feel hard
Application: 1. Boat mainsail control line 2. Rescue line 3. Drag cable 4
nylon
Advantages: 1. Good UV resistance 2. Shock absorption (good extensibility) 3. Good chemical resistance 4. The price is moderate
Disadvantages: 1. Too elastic. 2. Weakened performance after wet

polymer

Purpose: 1 capstan rope 2 in place of steel wire rope 3 in large ships without insulated cables where weight is required
